Newsflash!

This just in... Sophie just sat up on her own for the first time. She was sitting on her playmat with her Daddy and he let go of her, very gently, and she stayed sitting up all on her own! She seemed very proud of herself and very excited, like she knew she was doing something big. We both clapped and hoorah'ed and yes, I even got weepy. Then Sophie got upset. We don't know if she was freaked out that she had just done such a big girl thing or if our excitement made her upset or maybe a little of both but wow, what a moment. Such a big girlie!!
